3 tons ball screw type bevel gear jacks

3 tons ball screw type bevel gear jacks achieve fast travel speeds and are rated for near continuous operation. These are fastest jacks. Available in Translating and Travelling Nut designs, bevel ball actuators act as miter boxes, making them an ideal choice for multi-jack systems.

Structures and Materials
- Spiral Bevel Gears: Lapped together in pairs, high quality alloy steel, case hardened.
- Ball screw and nut is made from hardened alloy steel with hardened bearing balls carrying the load between nut and screw. Ball Screw: SCM 450, S55C, Hardness: HRC 58-62. Ball Nut: SCM415H, Hardness: HRC 58-62. Steel Ball: SUJ2, Hardness: HRC 60.
- Input Shafts: Hardened, alloy steel. Custom stainless steel 304, 316.
- Drive Sleeve: High strength bronze.
- Traveling nut - high strength bronze.
- Safety nut - high strength bronze.
- Housing - ductile iron
