Two
15-tons stainless steel translating machine screw jacks are connected in series by a stainless steel drive shaft and geared couplings. All metric stainless steel machine screws have a trapezoidal thread form, single start as standard. Other screw lead options are available on request. Based on operating capacity for loads of 25% to 100% of screw jack capacity, torque requirements are approximately proportional to the load. Efficiency values for standard grease lubricated worm gear box and lifting screw. Ideally suited to perform in harsh environments (wet/dusty/dirty). Corrosion resistant models can be used in chemically adverse environments.
Main Features1. Upright or inverted units with maximum static load capacity 15 ton in tension or compression.
2. With higher ratios are inherently self-locking and will hold the loads without creep as long as the screw jack is not subject to vibration.
3. Lifting screw with 58mm diameter, 12mm pitch (single start trapezoidal screw thread).
4. Available in 8:1 and 24:1 ratios.
5. Custom travel lengths from 20mm to 3500mm.
6. Translating lifting screws (stainless steel travelling screw jacks), keyed lifting screws for anti-rotation (stainless steel keyed screw jacks), and rotating lifting screws with traveling nut (stainless steel travelling nut screw jacks) as the standard configurations.
7. Worm screw (input shaft) is rotated by a handwheel with handle (manually operated screw jack) or by a gear motor (electrically operated screw jack).
8. Can be applied either individually use or in tandem or in multiple arrangements for exactly synchronized lifting system, linked by connecting shafts, bevel gears and couplings etc.
