JACTON offers worm gear screw jacks with internal worm and worm gear units, there are reduction ratios for them, also called worm screw jack reducer too. So the jacks lifting speed will be not fast like chain, air jacks or hydraulic screw jacks. If the lifting speed is too fast, the friction heat and the wear are very strong, and the service life of the screw lift will be greatly discounted.

The worm gear screw jacks lifting speed depends on three factors: input speed, worm ratio, screw pitch.
To increase the speed, first, choose fast ratio(high ratio). Second, you should use a 4pole motor to directly input, do not use 6pole motor or decelerate through the reducer and then input to the screw jacks. Third, use a large pitch, or high lead screw within the allowable range. Under normal circumstances, the screw is a single lead, here we can make a double lead screw according to the actual situation, so that the lifting speed can be doubled.
